Link Elementary School

Link Elementary, built in 1982, was named for Joan Link, one-time secretary to the Spring ISD Superintendent and the Board of Trustees, and active volunteer in PTA and booster clubs.

In 1964, Mrs. Link took the position as full-time secretary in the superintendent’s office, which at the time handled all district administration functions.

Later, when the duties were divided due to the District’s growth, Mrs. Link became the first secretary to the board of trustees. She retired in 1982, having served for 20 years.
