Principal
Principal
LaToya Patterson

LaToya Patterson is the Principal of Hirsch Elementary School. She is a longtime educator and leader in Spring ISD and a product of Spring ISD, graduating from Spring High School. She most recently served as Principal Resident, collaborating with principals from turnaround campuses to increase academic achievement. She has served in multiple other leadership roles, including Assistant Principal, Team Leader, and Teacher at Anderson Elementary. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Spelman College and her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Lamar University.

The Spring Independent School District serves over 34,000 prekindergarten through 12th-grade students in a diverse district located 20 miles north of central Houston. From high-quality early childhood programs to college preparation courses and career pathway exploration, there are programs and services designed to meet the needs of every Spring ISD student.
