Career Pathway: S.T.E.M.

The STEM cluster in Spring ISD’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) program is specifically designed for students interested in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. This pathway focuses on preparing students for careers that require managing and providing scientific research and professional technical services, such as laboratory testing, research and development, and more.

Students in this program can explore a variety of disciplines including Engineering through Project Lead The Way (PLTW), Systems Engineering, and Computer Programming with a pathway to an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree through PTECH. The curriculum is structured to build essential skills in problem-solving, analytical thinking, and technological proficiency, ensuring students are well-prepared to meet the demands of careers in these critical fields. By integrating theoretical knowledge with practical application, the STEM pathway equips students to drive innovation and contribute effectively to the scientific and technical communities.
