Career Pathway: Education & Training by Spring Independent School District May 11, 2024 GO BACK Education & Training The Education Pathway at Spring ISD’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) program is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of educators and trainers. This comprehensive pathway prepares students for careers in education and training services, emphasizing the planning, management, and delivery of educational programs. Students have the unique opportunity to graduate from high school with both an Associate of Arts in Teaching from Lone Star College-Houston North and a high school diploma with a Public Service Endorsement. Participants in this pathway benefit from guaranteed student teaching placements, tuition assistance or reimbursement at four-year institutions, preferred acceptance at partner colleges and universities, and an Educational Aide I certificate through the Texas Education Agency. These advantages equip graduates with both theoretical knowledge and practical experience, ensuring they are well-prepared to contribute effectively in educational settings and support services.
