  • If you are applying to attend a Spring ISD school as a PK3 student, you do NOT need to fill out a transfer application, regardless of your current address.  Go to the Pre-K web page to apply for PK3.
  • Transportation is NOT provided to transfer students.
  • Transfers will not be approved that adversely affect the sending or receiving school.
  • Transfers are processed on a first-come first-serve basis.
  • Students attending the district’s schools of choice (Roberson Middle School, Spring Leadership Academy, Carl Wunsche Sr. High School, P-TECH at Dekaney High School, IB Program at Spring High School, and Spring Early College Academy) are NOT considered transfer students since these programs do not have attendance boundaries. Students accepted into these programs receive transportation. • Students who have maintained all of the transfer requirements for the 2024-2025 school year may be eligible for an automatic renewal of their transfer without additional requirements.
  • Students who have not maintained the requirements for a student transfer will be assessed and provided an opportunity for improvement. However, if the campus principal determines that the student has not met the transfer requirements, the student will be returned to their regularly zoned campus. Students in 5th and 8th grades will be need to submit a new transfer application request for the 2025-2026 school year if the parents are requesting they attend a non-zoned middle or high school.
  • If you are on a campus on a current transfer, you do NOT need to fill out a transfer application, unless you are informed by the campus principal that your transfer is not being renewed.
  • If you are changing address and will be attending/zoned to a new Spring ISD campus, you do not need a transfer application to attend that new campus. Please contact the Registrar at the new campus.

    • Repeated failure to pick up the student from school on time
    • Violations of the Student Code of Conduct
    • Student is no longer receiving child care from the provider that qualified them for a school transfer
