Lewis Elementary School

Donna Lewis is a superstar volunteer, and Spring ISD has benefited from her talent, hard work, and generosity for 33 years. Ms. Lewis has been a member and officer of the Spring ISD Career and Technology Education Advisory Board for 23 years. In addition, she is a 14-year member of the CATE scholarship luncheon committee, which has provided scholarships for students to continue their education. A charter member of the Spring ISD Education Foundation, Lewis has served there for twelve years, and was a director and executive board member for six of them. Lewis has been very involved for many years with the Spring Tri-Club. She is the only woman to have served as the organization’s president and has also served as a director and scholarship chairperson. Lewis founded the Westfield Future Farmers of America Booster Club, co-founded the Spring Young Homemakers of Texas in 1973 and formed the Big Sister Club. We are proud to be named after such a talented and generous Spring ISD supporter. Everyone in the Lewis community will work hard to live up to her standard of excellence.

Donna Lewis es una superestrella del voluntarismo, y el Distrito Escolar de Spring ha recibido el beneficio de su talento, esfuerzas y generosidad para 33 años. Ms. Lewis ha sido integrante y oficial de la Junta de la Educación en Carreras y Tecnología de Spring ISD por 23 años. Además, es integrante de la comité de la comida formal de becas de CATE, que ha proveido becas para ayudar a los cuales estudiantes que quieren seguir en sus estudios. La Sra. Lewis es una de los fundadores originales de la Fundación de Educación de Spring ISD y ha participado por doce años en sus actividades. Ella ha servido por seis años como directora y integrante de la junta ejecutiva. Ella ha sido muy activa por muchos años con el Spring Tri-Club. La. Sra. Lewis es la única mujer que sirvió como presidente de esa organización. Sus actividades en el Tri-Club incluyeron ser directora y la superivsora de becas. La Sra.
